New Corvette

Am I the only one who thinks the new 2014 Corvette is gaudy and ugly?

Nope, douche car.
The new corvette is not that bad. The interior finally had an upgrade which was needed. The change in the tail lights will take some time to get used to. The new engine puts out 450 HP, which is a gain of 20 HP from the previous model. I have a 2008 Vette, and I am waiting on the 2015 model, I dont like to buy a newly designed car, it takes a year to get the bugs out.

Chevrolet had to make some changes to this car to maintain buyers and maybe gain market share. Chevrolet only sold like 15,000 vettes last year which is a very low number.
I think it looks like it was designed by the guys from the show, "Pimp My Ride".
The Camaro tail end is horrible.

The number is still 911, folks. Has been for years; just no substitute.

I am a fan of Corvettes. I love them! But I personally think that the older styles are better looking. I like the 1968 Styles.

No matter what you think about the end result, there is no doubt that it is an improvement over the previous version – unless you love plastic interiors more than leather interiors.

I'll give it a chance at least until I see one on the road. Looks less like a douche-mobile than previous models.
The new Corvette is quite a change. I do believe the engineering for this car will prove to place it high above a lot of the competition. The Corvette is very dependable, has decent gas mileage too.

But the Corvette is fast, very fast and quite manuverable. A stock Vette with 450 HP should do at least 190 MPH on a regular basis. I have driven my 2008 Vette to 160 and backed off, it was too fast. For the money, no better car when it comes to performance and dependability.

And the Vette gets them WET!

I still think 1962 was the last year of authentic Corvettes.
BUT i love the stingray graphic they came up with for this year.

I love the Corvette and the Stingrays have always been my fav! I rent a Corvette every time that I visit Las Vegas. The feel of driving that car just makes me wet

This is the Corvette I usually rent. To me, it is a great car and I love going fast in it
