If escorts stopped working for one day or week how much money would be lost in the economy???????

If there were no more escorts and no more hobbiest spending money on providers what would happen to the economy? We hear about busts everyday for doing this and it is really sad that here in the USA we are not allowed to do what we want with our bodies and money. If all escorts stopped for one day or lets say one week how much money would nt be spent in the economy. I know there would be alot of horny and stressed out people in the world.

If there were no escorts these are businesses that would be hurting:

1. Condom
2. Hotels
3. Gas Stations
4. Phone and Internet
5. Landlords
6. Photographers
7.Car renter
8. Backpage
9. Sex Products ( clothes, lube and etc)
10. Resturants
11. Utilities

These are just the ones that came to my head. I know some girls may not have the same expensives as others but over all this should cover most. If girls quit escorting and just went and lived in one home and did some kind of local job and didnt need to spend money on the expensives to be an escort how many other people would feel the affect of the lack of money coming that way. If I could do this at my home and in the country I would have alot less bills and stress..
You forgot ISP, web hosting providers... the oldest business sounds like it is a lucrative one too

Hard to estimate the actual dollar impact but it would be huge.
Please don't go on strike or have a walk-out. The economic effect would be enormous.
Our struggling economy does not need that kind of sucker punch.
None would be lost. Just going to different places. Guys will still spend the m money, just on other things. Like male toys, for example.
Providers are basically a service industry. Service industry's have to rely on the trickle down theory of economics. If providers quit working it would have no impact on the economy.

VICE departments might be able to redeploy officers to other crimes.

From a guy's perspective, I don't think one day is that big of a deal because the guys don't hobby every single day, even the ones with deep pockets. I know I wouldn't miss the hobby for a day. Now, if you said, say, a month, that's a different story.

Economy wouldn't know the difference. Don't anyone flatter theirself thinking we would collapse if it wasn't for prostitutes. Sugarbabys, strip joints, pick up bars, and real life girls with loose morals would take up any and all slack and gladly take up the money too.

Interesting financial analysis about a scenario that will probably never happen in the context of a work stoppage.
Gotta be unionized or at least organized to have a strike or work stoppage and even then, I think many workers would cross the picket line to take advantage of the opportunity.
I was just kidding earlier, because the reality is that I think it does happen for all intents and purposes at least once a year. That day being December 25th.
There may be some activity that day but very, very little.
Realistically, how do you measure the economic effect of something that is for the most part, not reported?
A comparison would be the illegal product sales from South American countries. Some days the bus doesn't run there either.
As huge as the US economy is, it would take a month or 2 for the effects to be felt and even then it may only affect custom 28" rim, gold teeth, gold chain and tattoo sales ....lol
