Thanks for the tips, Keri is definitely on the list. I was just curious because I once read something on here about not going to the Westbank, although the reasoning wasn't explained. I found the quote.
Once you are in New Orleans, stay. Do not venture to Metaire, Kenner, Westbank (Algiers, Gretna, Marerro, Harvey) , etc. Stay within the areas policed by NOPD, not JPSO.
Its going to be tempting, because all of these places are much less expensive, but the price you could really end up paying is much higher then you might ever imagine.

Any explanation...or is this an over-reaction? As i mentioned, I'm not from the area, but travel there for work every so often. I'm sure most (if not all) would agree, playing safe is at the top on our list of priorities. To me, this means not putting myself in a situation that would blow back on my everyday life.
I'm still pretty new to the hobby and have only played in Houston thus far. I just wanted to get everyone from the area's opinion before going down that road. Also, anything you guys have noticed that would keep an individual such as myself out of trouble?
