Hobby Image in South La.

Hey there Gents and Ladies.

I would like to express concern for our Image as a whole. For the most part the hobby has some really great people involved, and it has been this way for a long time. However the climate is changing here in south La.

I am asking for some of you to please pay better attn to how you portray us here in South Louisiana.

With the Super bowl coming up, and Mardi Gras right around the corner, all the events surrounding football season with the Saints in Nola and LSU in Br. The businesses around the plants and oil field.

A lot of people from all over the country and even the world visit this area.

When hobby visitors are researching the area and visit the Nola forums and see the sleeze that is public, right there in the review/alerts forum, it is a turn off, and a bad representation of all of us in this area as a whole.

Please understand that I am not chastising, judging nor fussing. I am just simply requesting to the handful of you that are behaving badly, if you would please find a way to keep it to your self. This is essentially the lecture that you would give a teenager that is posting vulgar and crude words and images on a public online space, it just makes you look bad, and unfortunately the rest of us suffer along with you, because it reflects on all of us that share this space.

I understand that there are some of you that just can not help yourselves, however, that does not mean that you need to share it with the rest of us. There are some things that are best left behind closed doors. I hope, with out having to spell it out, that you are all smart enough to understand what it is I am trying to say.

Discretion, Good Judgement, Shame, Pride, Self Respect...... Not sure I can find exactly the right words. You decide

It also reflects on the men ..... Quality ladies sometimes are afraid to visit because they view all of us in that light .....

From a female point of view, If I were planning to visit other cities, I would first do my home work by reading alerts and reviews. And would absolutely scratch Baton Rouge off the list, just based on the impression given in those forums.

If I may add, some of us from the 'old guard' are sometimes chastised for even posting! We used to have some fun topics for discussion and laughs, but not anymore.
Zada is absolutely correct, people who visit here (and are in the hobby) READ the things posted in the forums, not just alerts and reviews, just to get a feel for the people here in New Orleans.
We could use some southern hospitality around here for the locals as well as the visitors. The world outside of the hobby is ugly enough without dragging it into our little pleasure dome!

I'm not sure what this is all about. Do the reviews give too much detail? Are the reviews more like high school locker room talk? Are they disrespectful to the providers. Maybe I haven't been around this board long enough to understand. Just trying to understand since I am a BR gent that would like to see quality providers visit BR. Maybe I'm just naive.

Not at all, reddy938. There seems to be a sense of negativity on this board. Not always, or course. But more than we need.
This should be a positive place to share points of views, whether you agree or not. Civility and tolerance seem to be lacking lately.
Zada is a much more eloquent writer than I am, she is polite but gets to the point.

Zada... BR's problems aren't unique, by a long shot! Public message boards eventually display all of society's traits... good and bad.
The good thing about most places is... if the players pay attention, and do a fair amount of research... there's a lot of fun to be had in most places... Baton Rouge, included!
Katrina did me a huge favor, by sweeping me away to Arkansas... but I continue to do two or three times as much hobbying down in South Louisiana, as I do there. We have our own delectable treats up there... as well as our own group of "undesirables"... I think it just makes us normal!

Don't want to preach but, on the reviews, the things I notice ...

Sometimes there's a lot of "piling on" in the review threads whenever a provider has a bad day. I would just like for all us guys to consider what it would be like if the girls reviewed us. Like if they commented on how tiny our dicks were - or complained about our hygiene. Just think about what it would be like if the tables were turned and I think we might all be a bit more restrained in the future.

It's a bit disconcerting that the women have to suffer comments without any way to reply. There's always two sides to every story.

There's a lot of backpage reviews on girls who are basically a waste of time. Hell, they come and go so fast that the links posted on their BP ads are dead before I get a chance to read the review.

The verified women on ECCIE are a treasure. Think about it - you have to have thick skin to be an ECCIE provider. You have to be on your game every single day lest you suffer a bad review. I don't know how they do it. Most of them are doing their best to make this is a safe and secure hobby for us guys. If you think about the shit they put up with - the no shows from guys - the time wasters - the "hagglers" - the drunks ... it's pretty amazing what they do.

Yeah - I know we have to tell the truth in a review - but there are "nuanced" ways of doing that without insulting a girl. Really, I'm not concerned that much about the BP girls - because a lot of them are shysters. This is not true for the ECCIE gals who have paid their dues and they deserve our respect.

If the shoe was on the other foot, I would be honored that someone chose to drop 2bills plus on me just to be in my company for a few short hours. And if my time shared was less than desirable, I would want to know better so that I may be able to uphold a certain standard of quality.

Insults are not nice but the truth does hurt sometimes. This is a review board.

Amen about a lot of the BP gals. While there are a few legit gals on BP,as well as eccie providers, I am sure the eccie gals do the proper screening and direct the buyer to a webpage with proper rates. If anyone is willing to take a chance on a $50 session, without screening, and they get a $50 session with a very limited menu and rushed and bad attitude, then they got what they bargained for.

I agree with Arverni. The eccie gals are a treasure and provide a quality fun GFE session. I can't get enough of them.

How refreshing! To see gentlemen who appreciate the ladies here that always provide a great experience!
