Hi everyone, since were all from different area's, I wanted to hear what types of winter outdoor activities you guys participate in, I mostly go iceskating at a local area or I like snowball fights (I know that sounds corny), I'm just kind of getting bored doing the same thing's though, any suggestions?
I like to get out in the woods and shed hunt. I wait for the snow to melt some and then I walk trails and look for winter feeding areas. All the while looking for shed antlers. Its great exercise and a lot of fun!
Ice skating used to play hockey so I love to skate!! I work with a rink about 2 minutes from my office which has open skate during lunch so when I'm not hobbing thats what I do on my lunch!!
I snowmobile!!! At 2 my parents had a caboose car thing attatched to my mom's then at 5 I was able to ride on the back and hold on then at 7 I had my own skidoo citation. I have literally snowmobiled my entire life.
I don't get a chance to do it as often as I would like but snowshoeing, skiing and playing hockey.
They had the Adirondack Ice Bowl outdoor pond hockey tournament this past weekend in Inlet, NY which is north of Old Forge. I think that would be a blast someday to do.
Back when I was young and foolish....ice fishing with plenty of booze to keep warm with. Now I look at the idiots out on a frozen lake and think no freaking way!!!!
Shoveling the snow, thats the only time you'll see me outside in the snow. Snowballing with your SO, now thats an entirely different activity I find fascinating, LOL
