I, for one, am ready to welcome our new digital overlords. Once the machines figure out when's the best time period that we were all happy and plug us in so they can use us as batteries, all our problems will be solved.

That is a problem. Our technology is advancing faster than our wisdom. It will cause lots of problems, as well as solving them.

I think that's always been an issue though. People will always create new things and ideas - it's also up to people to determine the correct and proper way to use said things / ideas.
