Dog friendly vacation spots in Texas??

Hey ya'll! I am hoping that I can get some ideas from other dog lovers here. I am going to be going away for a week in a month or so for vacation and I am looking for a place in Texas (5 hrs or less away from Dallas) that I can rent a cabin or something similar and to be able to be near some place where I can let my dogs run free and enjoy their freedom.

Is there anyone that could point me in the right direction?

Nice that you can take them with you, I can't recommend any pet friendly rental but can recommend a great kennel I use when vacationing.
