To Blog or not to Blog, that is the question...

I was thinking of adding a "Facebook wall type" blog to my website. NOT A FACEBOOK page, but a true blog, to share funny photos, meaningful quotes, beautiful photos, and my occasional muses.

Do guys really look and read these?

I just thought it would give more insight into my personality.

What do you think?
Example of something I might share on my blog:

Hooker blogs are alike like facebook, meaning you're kind of talking to yourself, and hoping others are actually reading it. I don't know about you, but I articulate better when I have opposition in a debate type manner, hence the reason my blog is full of Volbeat, Halestorm, and Breaking Benjamin lol. Discussion board topics, are really my blog of sorts. Other than that...I just like to ROCK!

I've had many patrons tell me they like reading a lady's blog & I've been asked why I don't do it. Personally, I'd never blog because I'm just too damn honest. I'd end up posting something that would piss off someone & then I'd have to deal with the backlash. Lol.

I could never post all the good stuff that the guys really want & possibly even expect to read. They don't want to read the real stuff that I'd end up writing about.

Tis why I don't really blog Evie. I can't be PC enough, and my board posts prove it lol.
I know I always have the same problem, of wanting to write something I know I shouldn't. What I do is free-hand everything and then put them into two piles. One pile I adjust slightly and then it can be public-friendly and I add it to my website. The other pile, I save for my book. Which is actually quite a large pile, lol.

PS Evie: I know this is random but I swear there is a girl visiting my area right now that has a picture taken in the same room as the one in your avatar. In fact, I think she's on the same couch! They're both really nice shots though so you both clearly made a good choice

Edit: I bet you're talking about my friend Riley Nicole. She has a photo of herself sitting on that piece of furniture & I think she's in Iowa right now.
Yep, that's the one exactly! The colors are just so pretty and vivid.

Jessica,

I like it when providers have blogs. Quite often this forum can act as a blog, and create what your after from sharing and learning, but you won't own it.

Take your blog, sometimes make it fun. I am LOL on post number #2. other times, make a challenge for your followers to have to use their brain, and think about something.

Nina, I actually read your blogs though ha ha.
So now my question is where is the best place to build my blog? ie blogsite?
JessicaKnightly- There is blogger.com escortblogs.

In my opinion the best place would be to blog on your website. The more text the more search engine friendly.
As mikkifine is saying, the best thing to do is set up some kind of Wordpress template connected to your website.

Talk to your website administrator about it. Or, if you're adventurous, which you certainly are, you can grab a book on it or research the web. There's a ton of information about how to set up a Wordpress blog. And most of the information, along with the tools to create a blog are free. It just takes either sweat equity or paying for expertise, whichever route you feel most comfortable with.

Ha! When I first glanced at the thread title, I saw To Flog or not to Flog...

I find blogs insightful. They reflect a great deal about what a person thinks and what they think is important. It is also interesting to note what is excluded from their blogs.
