I grew up near Chicago. It's to big to be considered a safe city. Like any large diverse city to obtain Guns and Drugs is quite easy and always will be. No Gun Control Laws will ever change that in Chicago or any other large city in America for that matter. The best thing to do is know your surroundings and pick your battles wisely, and don't take the word of political people cause they really don't know.

Switzerland certainly has it's share of Guns but their Gun related violence is lower than ours is. Where do you get this idea that they have no problem killing eachother?

It doesn't matter where you are, big city small rural areas, criminals are everywhere. those that what to find trouble will find it, those that want to start it will start it.

WE allow the murder of babies all the time, some want the government to pay for it, and we wonder why there is no sanctity of life. A thug gets bumped and pops a cap because of it. The idea that a person can take a life without responsibility or fear of punishment is rampant.

There are those that would disarm law abiding citizens think it will stop criminals. It will only allow the criminals to know they are not gong to die for their crimes.
