Fourth Of July

I usually go the the Fourth of July Celebration in Garland. However for the second year in a row due to budgetary issuses, they ain't having one.

So I'm taking a new lady friend to the one in Addison, which I have never been too. I would appreciate any tips on the lay of the land, best viewing places, or even good watching party locations.

The Frisco Celebration is a back up plan so any tips on it would be welcome too.

I live in Rockwall and they are having something at the lake everyday this weekend. Carnival rides, food, and even Tracey Lawrence will be playing there Sunday. I think you have to but tickets to go to that though.

That sounds like fun. I went to a Concert by the Lake not long ago, and they were a much rowdier crowd than the Arboretum...lol. Plus I'll bet you could watch fireworks at one of the restaurants at the Harbor...great patios.

Thanks for the heads up on this! I just looked it up, Johnny Lang - Friday, Joan Jett - Saturday followed by Tracy Lawrence on Sunday. You need a ticket to get in.
