What is an acceptable time frame?

I'm curious to hear from the ladies and gents on the board of what an acceptable time frame/wait time is when waiting to hear back from a provider or hobbyist when trying to set up a date. For example: gent A wants a date, screening is done, and asks what times are available, you reply back with "I have "so and so" available will that work?" The provider waits and waits for a response for a few hours but nothing comes back. Then a message comes in from gent B asking what times are available, screening is done, you respond with an available time and gent B responds back immediately and says "I'll take it." Mean while, later on, gent A finally gets around to responding back but the time given is no longer available due to lack of response.

For hobbyist just use provider A and provider B in that same scenario. You send out a PM to provider A and one to provider B to see who is available. Provider A doesn't respond back for hours but provider B responds back quickly, more than likely you're going to go with provider B who responded first, right?

So again, my question is, what in y'all's honest opinion would be a fair amount of time to give someone to respond before booking with or giving that available time to someone else?

Sometimes it 10minutes sometimes its an hour. It all depends on how patient the little brain is. LOL.
If Gent A doesn't get on the ball, then you have to go with Gent B. It's just the way it is. He will just have to get with you at a different time frame. His loss

If you want to be kind, give him 30 minutes, in case someone starts yapping in his ear as soon as you give him your availability.

You can also keep Gent B waiting 15 minutes before you give him the go-ahead. 15 minutes is really a fair amount of time to respond to a text or email.

That is just my opinion and I'm fairly laid back when it comes to these matters.
You snooze, you lose!!
If I text you , I give an hour then move on . If I send pm or p411 request I give 24 hrs then move on . I guess you get the idea no response I move on , it's your loss I have over 500 choices . I imagine that your choices are considerably less . And I lose no money if I get no response .

If it's a text I feel a couple of hour is a resonable amount of time to wait for a response.

PM end of day,P411 the following day.

Seems to work out OK for me.
First come first serve. Its nothing personal its just business. You have to take the for sure than the maybe. In this business the for sure might even cancel on you. There are no guarantees here on either side. Things come up and shit happens.

I appreciate all of the replies so far, thank you gentlemen. It seems to happen a lot to both parties. I feel terrible when it happens though, I'm like . Just trying to learn some things to better my scheduling, replies, and response times. I'm surprised no ladies have chimed in. LOL!

I agree if the guys snoozes he loses. If you give him the times you are available and he does not confirm which times he wants and while he is sitting on his thumbs you get another guy that confirms for one of the times you were available it's the first guys loss for waiting too long.

I guess you could tell Guy B that you have already told another guy that you were available at X times and that you want to give guy A first choice since he contacted you first. But what if guy b says he can't wait and schedules with someone else and then guy A comes back and tells you he will not be able to see you. You are left with no appointment.

I think the he snoozes he loses is the best approach.
I sometimes see a guy early AM then another later in the PM but usually only see one......I always send a "confirmation" PM and if they don't reply via PM or text for scheduled appointment then I send a PM or Text (which ever was used) saying something like "since you did not confirm I assume this is not a good time" I don't want to be rude but I feel 3-4 hours before an appointment is good.......I have had to cancel last minute before but it's usually a few days before since I live way outside the city limits and only see scheduled appointments(:
Dang, your sexy Hollywood101......pretty silky hair, cute booty......I'm sure you would have no problem finding a "replacement" appointment for a cancellation(:

What's worse is to respond to an ad and........ Silence. No reply, no nothing. Or send a friendly pm or text or email, as stated and preferred, and .......... Silence. Then a few days later see the provider placing an ad again. If I operated my business that way, before long I would be gone. I don't understand why a quick reply is so difficult. However, I must say, responses are much better with providers on P411. Courtesy prevails.
