Very Simple Question

Does anyone else hear the crickets chirping in the Arkansas forums??

Well from an outside perspective, you all are killing your own board. Look at the majority of the last top threads, they are filled with venom beyond belief, and all this stuff has gotten crazy. My advice, worry about yourselves, conduct yourselves in a manner in which you want to be treated. If a lady has an issue with a gent, they have a ladies board to share that info.....on the flip side, if a lady was "wronged" by another hobbiest and she askes for you to help her, politely decline, as you only know one side of the story.

After being in the game for 10 years, it still amazes me how many people feel like they need to know everything about what everyone else is doing. Worry about yourself, go have some fun, ladies make some money, and everyone is happy.

These of course are all simply general comments and observations, and are in no way directed at anyone in particular. I am a visitor to LR for work, and have only seen 2 ladies in all my trips there, both of whom are wonderful ladies and I will see again while I'm there.

My answer is, Honorable Megusta ,that I have not heard the crickets. I see a good deal of posting. Reviews are plentiful and new providers are coming along all the time. Despite the diagnoses of out of state experts ready to sign the death certificate, there is plenty of life left. Change is painful, and often comes about in ways we do not understand or wish were necessary, but is also inevitable. There are plenty of positives. It has become fashionable to dismiss us decry us and batter us. We get lampooned for not taking care of our own and harpooned for taking action. Derided by the benchwarmers and roasted by the fence sitters.

So my answer is if no one is posting start posting, write a review, do something. You might discover that we are still a long way from an autopsy.

If Mega is referring to the recent lack of interlopers, I'd say I not only hear the crickets but I rather enjoy them.

I have always done my Arkansas hobbying pretty quietly... keeping at play, much below radar. I made an active decision to cease writing reviews, around the same time as I moved to Arkansas. I do choose to speak as I please in all of my board postings... and will continue to do so.

I do agree with Busa's comments, as to the tendencies of some to be overly preoccupied with other people's business.

There is still much fun to be enjoyed, in the Arkansas hobby... despite some of the riff-raff!

Think it's bad here look at NE, TX and Shreveport. But here, like there it's takin a little too serious and every comment gets a online Billy bad ass comment or action from a super mod( for sure if it's a mod's buddy your fuckin with).So most people are like fuck it, wont say anything and you can see it.
