Please help me get to know San Antonio.

As some of you may know I am relocating to San Antonio from Amarillo. Although I have met a lot of nice gents here I am VERY ready to get out West Texas and into a big city although, a little nervous I must admit.

I know some providers post coed discussions just to get their location out there so some of you may not feel the need to truly discuss whatever it may be that they are posting about but, this is not one of those.

I REALLY would appreciate any help at all you guys and girls may be willing to give me. I am just curious about your city in general. I know that sounds broad but, I am not quite sure how to narrow it down. Maybe any areas to stay away from, high traffic spots, good places to eat, good dive bars, entertainment that I may not know about (aside from the alamo, river walk etc). There that may help a bit

I thank you in advance and also want to say that I am REALLY looking forward to meeting you.

First off, welcome to our little big city. I think that you'll find us to be a great bunch of folks. BTW, you've got a very nice showcase.

While I don't know what sorts of activities interest you, I can say that we've got lots of good drinking and music venues in addition to hundreds of good restaurants, especially if you're into Mexican food. I bet you could easily convince some of us to show you around a bit.

As far as locations for an incall, most guys find the general areas of the medical center (northwest side just outside 410) and the airport to be the most convenient. I'm sure some of the ladies here can steer you toward to better places.

I hope you enjoy living and playing here in SA.

Second Altbiers compliments on your showcase. If you're not fond of traffic, stay off of 281 and the StoneOak area, although there are some good places to eat and drink in the area. Depending on what you're use to paying for rent, in W.Tex., you may experience some stickershock, but you get what you pay for. Do your reserach and ask around, people will be happy to help you. Take care, and welcome.

Welcome. Just wish your face were not warped to the point of scary...but we can fix that when you get down here and attend a social! I heartily concur with Altbier and Keyzer's statements of advice.

So why'd you pick San Antonio?

Welcome and while there's a lot of info (and helpful people here) perhaps using the 'net will give you a better oversight and then you can drill down, especially if your household might include someone who will be enrolling in school. Here's a couple links to help you get started....

imho, before you figure out where to settle in, spend a week or so in a hotel near the airport (pm me for some suggestions, if you like) so you can get a hands on feel for the city's many fine (and not so fine) residential areas.

We also have two meet & greets a month in the Alamo City. See my pm for more info on that.

Advice: Don't wear a Lakers jersey. That's frowned upon here. HAHA
