Showcase photo upload problem

I am trying to update my showcase and deleted some pictures knowing we are allowed x amount. I was able to upload 3 new ones. I got this message on the 4th one:

Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 137363456) (tried to allocate 13824 bytes) in /home/eccie/public_html/library/ECCIE/Image.php on line 75

I am using Firefox at this time. I don't know if that makes a difference. Any help would be appreciated.

Your pics are too big is the problem. The more you can reduce the overall file size of each pic, the more you will be able to post.

Hmm, some of them are smaller than the ones I had originally.

Something worked, you got 21 of them posted.
Its not so much the number of pics, but the total size of all the uploads combined that each showcase is allocated. And no I don't know what that number is.
