The Ticket is right. It's like breaking up with your girlfriend on national TV.
I can live with the jerk moving on, but did he have to rub his home state's nose in it?
What a jackass.
i still think the lakers have a better "team"....they built it around kobe....good starters and proven reserves.....if anybody here watches soccer especially in spain we all learned last year that the best, expensive players dont get you a championship... a la real madrid getting cristiano ronaldo, kaka, xabi alonso andkarim benzema and spending a shitload of money and not winning anything
the heat are going to have a bullseye on them and every team is going to give them everything they got from the wizards to the lakers......if they do win time and time again the nba is going to be boring.....this team is different from the jordan bulls era
homie
I predict zero titles for LeBron. They have no capspace to bring in any talent. those 3 can't play 48 minutes every game.
He should have quietly announced he was leaving, that tv show was sticking it in Cleveland's face for not bringing in any other talent.
Plus one ball is not enough for Lebron and Dwade.
This could be the biggest FLOP in basketball ......What do they do when these guys dont win a title ...what they all do ...Blame it on The coach ..or does the Infamous PAT Riley come back to coach now that he thinks He has a team of world beaters ...I will be laughing when they fall on their collective faces ..Basketball has been going down hill for years and may have just hit bottom...I can walk away from it and not miss a beat ........
You may not like the Heat, but they will win a ton of games with that group. The average NBA team has no shot against them. I don't know if they win a title next year, but they will be the team of this decade. All the other top stars are in the their 30's. These guys are still in their 20's.
And I was LMAO at Cleveland. I'd take league minimun if I were LeBron to get out of there. Hmmm. South Beach or stay in the Rust Belt? Tough choice.
Cleveland sux..they weren't shitt BL (before Lebron) and wont b shit AL.
He's been in Ohio his whole life, time to spread his wings and live somwhere else.
They hit the lotto with with being sucky enough to get the #1 pick and they still couldnt get any other players to come to that God forsaken town..
GOOD FOR LEBRON!! He took less $$ to get out of that depressing City, Don't blame him one bit...
I don't blame him either but, TSRV could be completely correct here. This could be the biggest flop if they dont make the finals, or lose in the Finals. If they don't win 2 out of their next 5... it'd be a huuuuuuuge flop.
They'll be the most talented, but maybe not the "best".

I'm glad this circus is finally winding down. I've got tired head from all this "look at me" crap. Come on football!
if he wanted to go where he can win right away- Chicago was the best choice- the Heat will be exciting to watch but will not win a championship this year. You guys have to realize that Wade and Lebron are great players but they play identical and Chris Bosh is a PF that has to penetrate- as someone mention before there's only 1 ball. The Celtics big 3(actually 4 now) are 3 great players with 3 different styles- Ray Allen is a great outside shooter- Kevin Garnett is a great low post player- and Paul Pierce is a great penetrator which means their styles don't conflict and they blend very well- you won't see that with the Heat. I now expect out of shape Shaq to sign a midlevel deal with heat.
I also wish nothing but failure for the Heat and LeBron James. Doing what he did to Cleveland, especially how he did it, was awful. The least he could have done was a sign and trade to give the Cavs something back, even if only a trade exception. Also don't buy the hype that he took less money to go to Miami. As Norm pointed out on the ticket today, after you take the state income tax and the fact that barring a major injury, he will get that "6th" season on his next contract he is losing very little by going to Miami. A true superstar would have stuck it out and built something special in Cleveland. Especially since the owner and team management have spent the money and bent over backwards to make moves to help LeBron over the last 7 years.
LeBron was the king at his high school even when he was so stupid that he let his mommy get that Hummer when she had no job. Cost them a game and almost the national high school championship.
Let's take a look at Kobe. He may be a prima donna but he has stayed and the owners have built the team around him as long as any new talent doesn't have an ego.
Chicago? Jordan owns Chicago to this day and played his entire career there but they added players who knew it was HIS team and Jordan helped bring them in.
Lebron? His ego and posse will not go well in Miami. he won't be pampered now that he has a new contract or an owner who won't suck his dick to try and keep him as badly as many pimped girls try to keep their man from kicking them to the curb here in Dallas.
Anyone who thinks LeBron will not get into a bitch fight with Dwayne over who is top dog when Wade already has a ring is in for a huge disappointment. Neither Wade or LeBron will do well when the other wants the ball more and when one goes into a shooting funk the other will not help him, he will try to put the boot to his neck because they both have big egos.
As a former ohio native, I'm actually glad Lebron is gone. He held the team back under the new owner who has the cash to bring in a couple top players and build a solid team around the base they have now.
I now expect out of shape Shaq to sign a midlevel deal with heat.

But I can't blame LeBron. Cleveland was a dead end team. The Knicks, NJ, and the Clips were horrible choices. The only real option was Chicago or Miami. And frankly, I'd have picked Miami, too. Chicago has an unproven coach and an unstable owner. Miami has the best GM in the league, probably the best owner in the league, and is one of the better places to live in the league. Give Riles two or three years and they'll own the East.
I agree TTH, couldn't have said it better. All this ego share the ball shit is unproven. I always hear the argument but have never seen it displayed on the court. I mean these guys play together all the time in the offseason, in camps, Olympics, scrimages. They are in a small faternity and they are not in competition when they are on the same team.
He would have been a great player with great highlights for the rest of his career, they had 7yrs with him and did'nt do jack shit. I bet it wont take 7yrs in Miami. How does it feel to have to score 40 points a night or you will lose? Fuck dat, time to play team ball not Lebron ball.
Hard to blame Lebron...look at it honestly...where would you rather live...CLEVELAND or MIAMI? I don't know about you, but it doesn't take me but 2 seconds to think and answer that one...taking less money shows me that he's not all about the $$$. Don't discount the fact that DWade and CBosh are his friends. Who wouldn't want to play with their friends in a better city...
So, all you Lebron haters...don't hate! You'd do the same thing. Now I'll admit the guy might get the "all time booing" when he returns to Cleveland. No doubt his return will be a media circus and count on things being thrown at him from the stands. We're going to see real quick the "class" of the Cleveland fans. Booing is fine, just don't go over the top with it.
It does take more than 3 stars to win a championship...but they've got one hell of a head start. If you think they CAN'T win with those 3 and marginal talent around them, I'd say you're fooling yourself. Three of the Top 10 players in the game today on the same team equals a LOT OF WINS...championships? Who knows...time will tell, but my guess is that it won't take much time...
When Chris Bosh shitty knees goes out we'll see how good that team can be without size. But damn, that's a lot of athleticism Riley put together. The contracts those guys signed are probably so backloaded, the Heat will feel it later. If they don't win now, Bosh or Wade will get traded around year 3 of this bullshit. Watch.
