Yep; at least it was Darvish who had the chance to make the 27th out...grounder thru his legs..........A buddy of mine was in San Fran last June to see the U.S. Open and was at Matt Cain's perfect game. But he left in the 6th inning because he was tired from traipsing all over The Olympic Club!!??!! I'll never let him live that down.

Watched every pitch. My sons and I were on edge from about the 6th, when it started looking like something special was happening. Yu had it going on for 7 innings, nasty stuff. Started hanging his breaking stuff in the 8th and was lucky to get out of that inning. It was a hanger out over the plate that the dude hit up the middle to take away the perfect game. Bummer...
