Question about LE stings

I've been wondering about how LE does BP stings. When they post ads do they also post pictures? If they do whose pictures do they use? Do the pull something off the internet or do they use the pictures of a female undercover officer? Just curious.

There are many web sites that can answer your question as well, and several articles on entrapment.. Do some searching
I had general questions about this stuff too.
I always see BP ads that have a picture that says "you agree you are not LE....."
Or they say it directly in the ad.
I wonder if LE is not allowed to mention that stuff in the ad.

Having said the above I have heard (never happened to me or anyone I actually know and won't since I am long since retired) that some Johns have been arrested after the decoy has done one or all of the above, which act is then denied in court. Again, I have no definite knowledge that it has happened but it is out there as an accusation. Oh, and that whole "are you a cop?" question that so many mongers and girls think is some sort of magic bullet? I hate to tell you but an undercover CAN tell you that they are NOT a cop when they are. Of course it doesn't stop folks from trying. Imagine its a drug deal and the dealer says, "you're not a cop right", does anyone honestly expect the undercover to say "yeah, I am, you got me" and the dealer and the UC laugh and go their separate ways?

This is an illegal activity, except for certain counties in NV (and there it is confined to licensed brothels). If you go in front of a Judge and say "but the ad said" or "I asked her and she said she wasn't L/E" the Judge, the prosecutor and probably your own attorney are going to have a great laugh over it later. There is no foolproof way to make it safe. Every time a girl sees a guy she doesn't know, or vice versa, you run a risk. Thats life. Its like anything else, you pays your money and you takes your chances.
Even if you get a lawyer and get off, I noticed from these stings your picture and name are already out there. You are screwed either way.
They show the mugshot and name, then in small print at the bottom it says, 'presumed innocent, blah blah blah"

I did get one question that puzzled me. She said - are you associated with LE. I said no. Then she said, are you undercover?
I thought, uh, didn't I just answer that?
I didn't realize they were different

Basics I have been told/learned.

Never mention any specific act or dollar amount. Remember the gray area here is companionship and what two consenting adults do on their own is the business of the adults. You pay for them to be there not for them to do anything specific. Example: Asking a lady to give you a bbbj for $60 will be a red flag to her just as it should be a red flag to you if she says how about a bbbj for $60. Never mention or request a specific act along with a dollar amount.

Never hand money directly to a lady. Always place in view or where the lady may request during communication prior (some ladies might ask you to go to the bathroom after you arrive to freshen up and leave the donation on the sink or counter). Or you can place it in view in the room or in an envelope gift card etc. Guess the thinking here is if you do not directly hand her the money you both have deniability on what was going on. "I was just cleaning my pockets out and put my money on the dresser."

Have also heard a good way to test a LE walker (could apply to BP/CL as well I suppose) is to ask her to nude model for you. Supposedly LE will back down because you are not asking for any specific illegal act (nude photo shots are not illegal) or money offer and they certainly won't want to expose themselves for naked pictures where as a walker/companion is usually willing.

Another thing I am cautious about at least in terms of BP/CL that only do Outcalls is to meet the person someplace public first...park, gas station near your place. This way you can be sure who the person is (do photos match girl), see if there is any additional unusual traffic like an arrest team, pimp, bash and dash cohorts etc (pick a place that gives good vantage point of view of the meet spot as well as surrounding area). Do this so that if its an outcall you don't give a tour to a potential robber of your place or get stuck with a lady that is nothing like her pics and in a position where you can't really get rid of her easily or get an unwelcome knock at the door by her pimp wanting to collect or friends that will bash and dash with your stuff. Again this is for BP/CL...I am not as paranoid seeing ladies from here or Tier.

On an incall go with your gut. Scan the area when you arrive to make sure there isn't anyone waiting in the parking lot or unusual activity in the area. Its not a bad idea to arrive early and cruise the surrounding area a bit (block or two in any direction) to make sure nothing is out of the ordinary. And if at any time you're in doubt...just leave.

A lot of this stuff is pretty common sense really if you have been around the hobby for a bit. If you are new just do some research. This site is good place since there are many threads about how to act and what to expect when meeting a lady.

As for presumed innocent, well, your boss, wife, S?O,friends are probably going to do the opposite. Sometime ago a teacher (I think) was popped DT during the day allegedly picking up a streetwalker (she was actually UC), he got off but he lost his job and folks remember he was arrested but not that the charges were dropped.

Jhurt, I would suggest a search. Do a search of the Dallas forums. There are some lawyers there who have listed and discussed the actually laws. That will keep you a lot safer than people telling you what they have heard.

Here is an intersesting link. And do that search for member shysterjohn and you can find tons of info. He is a great resource.

come on. you guys are over thinking this. all you have to do is put in your review - preferably in bold type - "this review is for fantasy purposes only and reflects nothing more than my sexy time dreams."

you know...right below where it says "activities" and "fee"....
