As long as you have the girl's permission, and they're at least 18 years-old, it shouldn't be a problem.

For personal consumption, go nuts so long as she's of legal age.

Most laws govern publication and distribution of pornographic material. Plus there's separate issuing concerning contracts, copyrights, and licenses (for retail purposes).

But don't take our word for it if you're paranoid. Always consult an attorney.

Legally the copyright belongs to the one who took the photo, not the one in it unless the photographer has granted usage rights to the lady.

I've always thought some of the ladies here who are particularly good at modeling could sell prints, posters, or calenders to clients.

Yes, the copyright holder is the photographer and not the model. But Texas does recognize the common law Right of Publicity. Hence why models sign waivers. Not to drown the OP with legal babble. So ...
