Obamacare not good enough for Congressmen or their staff

Interesting article. Doesn't matter if you're democrat, republican, independent, etc., this should piss you off. Congress passed Obamacare but want to exclude themselves and their staffers from having to participate in Exchanges. Fuck them, if it's good enough for Americans, then it should be good enough for them.

I don't blame the GOP for wanting out of Obamacare; hell they didn't vote for it...they knew it was a shit deal for most working americans...............now they want out....can't blame them.............

That said; we are stuck with it so no one should get exemptions IMO !

The blame for the Obamacare fiasco is ALL on the Democrats !

Do you have any idea how many "exceptions" (aka "waivers") have been granted by the ....

.. Secretary of Health and Human Services ... 100's, if not 1,000's.

It doesn't apply to Federal employees, who are those who will be administering the regs.

Obiecare doesn't apply to anyone that has an existing policy, Congressmen included.. The law is meant to help those that cant afford health insurance. Last time I checked if you work on the Hill not being able to pay for an ins policy isn't a problem
What a bunch of baloney; Obamacare most certainly will apply to EVERYONE - who isn't exempted !

Every insurance policy written in the US will have to comply with the Obamacare regulations; including minimum services, pre existing conditions, age of coverage, and thousand of other rules and regulations.....

Another low information Obamadrone chanting meaningless shit.................

Umm... the end of the article seemed to tell a different story:

UPDATE 2: Harry Reid says there will be “no fix” to exempt members and staffers:
Senator Reid is committed to ensuring that all members of Congress and Congressional staff experience the benefits of the Affordable Care Act in exactly the same way as every other American. He believes that this is the effect of the legislation as written, and that therefore no legislative fix is necessary. There are not now, have never been, nor will there ever be any discussions about exempting members of Congress or Congressional staff from Affordable Care Act provisions that apply to any employees of any other public or private employer offering health care.

It is a unilateral program that applies to everyone. An article that only quotes Republican congressional members on what Democrats are doing is not exactly objective media coverage.
You said "Obamacare doesn't apply to anyone with an existing policy"...........

That is absolute hog shit !

Existing policies are being re-written by Obamacare............

A helpful article that might help explain this sticky situation involving insurance companies and changes to policies. Again, I tried to stay within the chosen media source of this post so as not to be accused of using the "liberal media" to make my case.
