Does anyone travel to Hobbs to the Horse track/casino?

I was there at the end of the summer last year. I wasn't impress with the casino and horse track was not in season. Any information on the track would be much appreciated. Thanks

I'm not 100% positive but I think their live races start in the fall.

If you want to see live racing sooner than the fall, Ruidoso's race season starts on Memorial Day and runs through Labor Day. Downiside to that is Ruidoso is about 200 miles to the west of Hobbs.
