Waiting for ads.eccie.net...

Seems like most of the time I am waiting for pages to load, this is the status I see, "waiting for ads.eccie.net". I count about 40 ads on the main page. Are the ads what are really slowing the site down?

at the present time the site is fine. Clear your PC, and give it a shot

I loads fast for me. (I'm on a Mac)
