Best beach location for a photoshoot?

I'm planning my 2013 beach shoot and I need help finding the perfect location. Warm water, some type of forest/trees scenery by the beach, maybe mountains/city in backdrop, somewhat private, etc you get the point

Where's the best beach location in the U.S?

there are small islands up in the lakes of the Adirondack mountains, like Lakes George, Ticonderoga, etc. not sure what your desired sand:background ratio is, but since they're in the mountains, the're surrounded by forests and mountains, and some of them have little sand beaches.

(=oh, right. Upstate New York. there are many small towns that border the lakes, like Glenns Falls, Bolton Landing, Plattsburgh... Just FYI, Lake George is known to be one of the most beautiful lakes in the country.

Lake Placid & Champlaign are up there too. Lake Tahoe, in Nevada, is also in the mountains, but since it's more touristy, i don't know how much privacy you could actually find there
Upstate NY wow would never have considered it ...obviously I've got more traveling to do! :P

and yes privacy is good. one time I did a outdoor shoot in downtown chicago and I was wearing this red evening dress so not like I was in my knickers, and guys were hooting and waving walking by ...I was all blushing, it was very distracting

I just looked up pictures of Lake George ...and WOW, looks like I might wanna stay there forever if they had warm weather all year around
