Pictures not telling the whole story?

I'm sure most of us have seen a provider at some point in time that used either vague or misleading pictures only to cause us to be disappointed with how she looked in person when we showed up. I'm curious...if you knew you couldn't go through with it at once you've met her in person, how would / did you handle it. I had a couple situations like this arise in my time.

The first time she was using very misleading pictures, probably not of herself, and I told her I simply was not attracted to her after seeing her in person and offered .40 for wasting her time. It was an awkward conversation and she seemed disappointed but accepted. After leaving I couldn't help but think that she was the one really wasting my time by falsifying her looks and by me paying her, I in some way encouraged this.

The other time this happened to me, I told her I forgot my wallet in the car and got the hell outta dodge. She was calling me for the next 45 mins, then sent me some nasty text messages, but didn't cost me anything other than gas.

Someone uses fake pictures? I have no time (or money) for that.

I've not had but one instance where I wasn't too happy from what I saw when the door opened, but I weighed my options and stayed. My mistake. I honestly wouldn't know how to handle it if I chose to walk. My inner gentleman and inner common sense center would definitely be duking it out.
It's definitely become an epidemic and there seems to be no vaccine! These providers have enough sense to know if they practice "truth in advertising" they will go hungry.

As a result, these ladies seem to be banking on the "point of no return" theory figuring 9 out of 10 hobbyists will still follow through even when they realize they have been suckered because it's awkward for them to turn around and just leave or they are so horny, they will temporarily overlook it.

I have been in that situation, followed through with the appointment, and felt miserable afterwards.

Here is how I look at it and some, maybe most will disagree... The hobby is a place for use to get away from the norm, fulfill those fantasies that we don't get at home or in the dating scene, etc...

Enter ECCIE or any other ad site for that matter. The showcases are there for us to, for lack of better word, shop and pick what we like. We pick based on activities provided, the look of the provider and of course cost. It is the provider's responsibility to keep their showcase up-to-date and accurate, bio, pictures, activities, rates and availability.

When I hobby, I personally am looking for something specific, so it's very important to me that I get what I see/am told I am getting. If I am in the mood for a BBW and I show up and she's 5'8" 120lbs, I'm going to be just as upset as if I was expecting 5'8" 130 and she's 5'3" 250lbs.

At the end of the day, when it's all said and done, it's a business transaction. We're not dating, we're not courting friendship (as clearly stated in another post), we as hobbyists are being provided something we want.

If I go to a restaurant and the food is not what the menu pictured or described, I'm not accepting it, I tell them to take it back and fix it. If they can't I'm leaving and going somewhere that can. If I buy something from a store, open it up and it's broken, I'm not keeping it. To either, I'm definitely not giving them a consolation prize for failing to meet the expectations that THEY set themselves.

The hobby is a two way street. Both parties time, security, comfort, reliability and accountability are both EQUALLY important. So we too must represent ourselves accurately during screening, however it is a little different because we are the "customer".

The hobby is more than just getting one off. If I wanted to just bust one with any random lady, irregardless of looks, activities, etc... I would walk my ass downtown, spend 30 bucks on drinks and shack up with a random tourist. That however is not the point of the hobby.

So long story short, haha... I expect what I am being "sold". I expect the person I see in the showcase. If it's not and I was misled, I'm not going to sneak to the car or just leave, I will let them know face to face, hey, you flat out misled an misrepresented yourself and this is not what I came here for. No, I will not give you a consolation prize and yes, I will tell my fellow hobbyists.

I'm not really a dick-head and those that have met me know that I'm not and am actually very respectful and have almost impeccable southern manners, but along with being southern is I'm going to shoot you straight whether you like it or not, but I'll do it with a smile on my face. So if this offended anyone, don't take it too personal, it's just my humble opinion.
That is excellently stated, dbeartx!!!!
And it is all so true dbeartx.

My feelings on fake pics and a false bio is stealing. The providers that do this think that the hobbyist are weak. Maybe some of us do not like to hurt the providers feelings. I am not one of these hobbyist. If you have fake pics, old pics, stats and bio are not accurate. You best not even have the appointment with me. I will let it be very known and not allow you to rape my wallet. I am that guy who can look you in the eye when you open the door and tell you that you are not what I want. So do not have a session with me if you're being untruthful and deceitful.
well my pictures are 100% us so I hope you guys love what you see .

Been there and done that, that's why I do my best to try to meet a provider first before I make an appointment to see her.

Star appreciate the current/accurate pics, you've posted, wish others would do the same.
Btw chivalrous is that you in your avatar? Just playing! I agree I have been very disappointed at times. I haven't walked on anyone yet. I try to limit my hobbying to providers I am familiar with.

Thanks to ALL providers who have posted and who continue to post in their SHOWCASES updated photos. And not photos that have been dated 2-3 years ago. We all go through changes in our lives as we get older.

I am sure there are no "clients" who description is I am a young Brad Pitt. Honesty will go a long way.

This is not "Backpage". We should not be "busting" or "policing" established providers.
Sure ....both parties should feel comfortable in expressing their true selves prior to meeting to bring about the best mutually experience possible and avoid disappointment

As for providers ....if you're not comfortable in using your own real recent pics ... consider investing in improving your appearance, honesty will always take you further
I understand the hobbiest perspective on the old/fake pic issue and love to showcase new up to date photos in my ads and showcase. Because they are mostly shot using a phone camera or digital camera of less hightech proportions... I utilize an editing program to improve the quality as well as remove any details that openly depict the decor in my apartment for reasons of personal security. I do not edit them in any way to mislead or decieve and enjoy adding my own flair to them with inserted graphics that help hide the background and add creativity to the mix.

I have found that new pix really drive biz up so they are a wonderful tool to utilize in this realm for all providerrs. I also learned that the gents really do appreciate new eye candy as well

Have a great weekend everyone...
