Maybe it's just me, but I don't see anything wrong with that commercial. She's pretty hot in a dorky way and he's gotta might fine hair line. Seems cool to me.
The second report makes me confused. Did the guy have all 3 kids in a cart hog tied and gagged? Did they have puppy dog eyes and mouthed "help me" to the other customer. So dumb.

People are always initially scared of what is different or against their immediate norm.
Growing up, some of my best friends were either half asian/white or black/white... the latter even had a lesbian mom... none of which bothered me or my household.
I honestly think its been a long time coming for something like this to hit mainstream marketing. Hell, to hit all the target market demographics they should have had grandma in the background singing little songs in spanish and "crouching tiger, hidden dragon" playing on the TV.
