I can answer the first, "is this normal"? NO.

Being conned, I would say not directly, as in exchange for funds, but I think in time, if you let it play out, the method to her madness will be clear, and my gut says she could be looking for a safe place. Dumping a boyfriend and/or pimp or has a rent bill she isn't paying. If u keep it up, I think she's going to show up with luggage, and sounds like she knows where u live, and most clients, she will not know their address.
