Damn, George.

Founder. Largest shareholder. But only a 3.5% stake. I know you knew better than that.

Always had great hairpieces to go with the suits lol. MW has sucked lately in their offerings. He should start a new chain.

It almost seems like their suits are more "high end" now but they offer more casual clothing. Nice stuff too!!
Ever watch Meet Joe Black? Owner/founder of briar sat station gets fired by his own board. It happens. "A golden parachute the magnitude of which your feet will never touch the ground".

Uh...Steve Jobs anyone? Surprised no one else mentioned it. Plenty of others, but at this point, I doubt there's a more famous example.

If you don't control 50.1% of the shares, it's always a danger. Even then, if someone else can call a debt payment to bankrupt the company or force a change, 50.1% of the shares doesn't help from a practical perspective.

In any case, it certainly happens.

That's why you always keep controlling interest. Go under 50%, and you can't guarantee control.

I used to work as an associate at one of his locations. Nice guy. I grew up watching his old school commercials where he stands in between two suits showing how much you'd save. I'm sure he'll pick himself up from this drag down.
