what is the positive of being a mod? If it is an unpaid position for a for profit company, there must be some benefit.

as representative to like minded members

bad
control freak
control providers for self gain
faults respect
ego trip

some start good and go bad, some start bad and driven good(or driven back ta good)
some start good and later same when it was over
some bad are just deleted (I have enjoyed my part with others, driven good and deleted. in other areas of the board)(my buddy list has many guested x-mods in it like a trophy case)
One mod started as Matt Dillon of gunsmoke with the idea of if I do not agree with you, you will be gone. Ya ok I was 1 of many that hit him so hard that he backed out before the 30 days were up(24/7 of posting anything he did not agree on for fun). He is still on the board saying when he stepped down "what the hell was I thinking no way I can handle this" or something like that LOL The mod he was defending as Matt Dillon is history and in my trophy case for my very small part of.
