Are all Tubing Companies the Same?

Hello All,

My friend is coming into town and wants to go tubing. There are so many different companies with so many start and end points. Which one is the best deal and the best ride?

I have had good results using Rockin' R River Rides. They are convenient to get to with plenty of parking next to the River Crossing by Gruene Hall. They will transport you up the river, and you can just float back to where you started. Their shuttles seem to run more often than the other tubing contractors. http//:www.rockinr.com

With the low flow on the Guadalupe, you'll want to stick to the Comal. So rent near Pats Place diner downtown NB, not in Gruene nor on river road....those are Guadalupe. Have fun

If you use the Comal, I suggest Felger's. Good blue collar folks run the place and they are friggin HILARIOUS.

I will admit,however, I haven't used an outfitter for tube rental in about 2 years... We take the 20 dollar tubes they sell at Academy, called River Runners or something, and walk the short distance back at the end of the Comal, save a bunch of cash and sober up before the drive home... lol.
