Dom or sub?

Which do you prefer? I was reading about this in another forum, so I thought I would toss it out here.
Would you like your provider to be dominate or submissive when you are together?
Personally, I find that initially things start out in a traditional sense, especially if I'm attracted to a guy. But then, I tend to turn the tables and take the aggressive role.
What is your preference?

"Aggressive" is one thing: and that's fine by me if it means throwing some change into what you're doing, taking the lead in switching to a new activity or position, etc. I like that fine--I'm not terribly creative, so actually need to rely on a provider to do that once we've started sometimes. But I NEVER see a provider who advertises as offering "domination." I don't enjoy the thought of it at all, in the particular way that term is used in this culture. I figure there is no way a woman can turn that switch off completely, even if she says she offers "regular" GFE sessions. I don't like being yelled at, "disciplined," or humiliated in real life, nor do I want to be in more intimate settings--and it's just hard for me to believe that a true dom would be able to control that well enough to offer a real GFE session & make it convincing. Likewise w/"submissive." I'm not crazy about true "submission" or submissives, the way that term of art is also used w/us, because I don't think I dominate enough to make them happy during a session--but if what you mean is more a "laid-back-I'll-let-you-lead-this-dance" kinda thing, then of course, it's fine. Some girls are more take-charge than others, whether due to age, experience or personality--in that sense, I like girls who aren't afraid to voice an opinion as to what they want, but also are willing to meet the needs I express during a session too. But then I'm pretty middle-of-the-road-vanilla in RL & in hobby-life. Takes all kinds.

I am considered a switch on another board I had a Dom for a while but to say someone I don't know to domninate me, is not something that will not happen I am for the most part a take charge kinda guy

My question isn't really for hard core D/S, just being the one taking the first steps and getting the fun started!

Oh well in that case, I am usually the initiator of my sessions!

Except for that one time with SknyDiva...where I was so tired she had to get my going and then "I took over" but did everything she commanded me to do like a prisoner with Stockholm Syndrome.

Now there are a few times that I will be submissive to a degree....but it has to be with a trusted repeat atf!

{I personally prefer a submissive man in bed....gets my juices flowing to talk dirty and let him know what dirty things I am gonna do to him}

Since I'm paying for the session, I like to call the shots. Providers who understand this get return visits.

I like a "volley" or give and take, each of us introducing some of the activities, but I usually want the girl to initiate the session-even if only by flashing or something like that.
