Way off topic--- hair transplant

ok, so I very recently had a hair transplant. The kind where they cut a section out of the back of your head, sew it back together, slice it all up into single follicular units and then poke a bunch of holes in the front of your hairline etc. and implant them.

Thankfully the pain meds work well because it was a lot worse than I expected.
The result is amazing and I'm very happy with it, just trying to recover as fast as possible.

The other side effect is swelling in the face as a lot of fluid has to drain from the head after the procedure---and it naturally goes from forehead to eyes to face etc. then drains away.

Reading online there are a lot of conflicting points about how to get rid of the facial swelling faster. The doc said it just takes time and it will pass---problem is that patience is not one of my strong suits.

Sooooo, if by any chance someone/anyone on here has had experience and knows of a way to get swelling down faster, I'm all ears.

If this is just too far off topic, let me know.

thanks in advance for any help!

Get a nice Companion to pull on your ears, massage your chin and give you a good suck down below to pull that juice right down off your face.
Ask your doc for some furosemide or hydrochlorizide . . . extremely cheap, safe diuretics. Also get a potassium supplement (Klor-Can). It will make you system drain excess fluid as fast as is humanly possible.

Or you can also use the old super model trick of putting Preparation H under your eyes where they are puffy. Do not get any in your eyes. It seriously works. I would work with a new tube for the obvious reasons.
