Happy 3rd & an almost the 4th.

The Declaration of Independence was actually signed on the 2nd!!!

They all then partied and announced it on the 4th. I bet that was a heck of a great party. I am sure the ladies were sweet.

Cowboy, I hate to correct you, but the vote for independence took place on the 2nd of July. On the 4th, the Continental Congress ratified the text of the actual document. The signing of the document probably did not take place until sometime that August, as several of the signers of the document were not present on the 4th. Just a little history lesson for everyone.
