radio, music, and lyrics

Just wanted to see what providers (and their clients, inevitably) listen to in their down time, as well as the faves for pleasure, sensual fantasy and hot mess sex.
Also, the thread is meant as an ode to lyrical prowess for inspiring artistry and rhythmic genius.

Let the good times roll!

I was going to start a 'What is in your CD player' thread, but seems that you beat me to it.

The CD that has been playing in my cars CD player for a couple months now is....

Lady Antebellum - Need You Now

Of course my favorite song on the album is.

Need You Now

But the whole album is good.

Our Kind of Love
American Honey
Hello World
Perfect Day
Love This Pain
When You Got A Good Thing
Stars Tonight
If I Know Then
Something 'Bout a Woman
Ready to Love Again

I am not really a CW fan, but had someone special send a link to one of the songs and I had to go buy the Album.
The first act love duet from Madama Butterfly is currently in my car Cd player. Gorgeous!

As all good Klingons and Centauri will tell you, opera is for warriors and lovers.
Anything Brooks and Dunn. But also Loggins and Messina. jimmy Buffet, Temps, Tops....shit, I like it all.

Number one is still classic rock. Right now in the car I have my favorite Springsteen boot. My rock favs include The Who, The Boss, Steely Dan, Neil Young, Santana, The Beatles, etc. I grew up in the 70's so I also love old school, R&B, funk, and even disco. O Jays, Temptations, Commodores, EW&F, Motown, Tower of Power, Jazz Crusaders. I played trumpet for 15 years so i love classical, big band, jazz band, etc. Blues and R&B are also high on my list. My first LPs were listening to my folks 78's - Sinatra, TJB, Mitch Miller, etc. I can listen to Frank all day long.

Pretty much anything but hard core rap and screaming metal.

I never was in the punk or ska scene, but I enjoy the trumpet and other customarily jazz instruments incorporated into upbeat music.
I agree lots of music played on 101 the Fox is good but my station of choice is 96.5 the buzz.
