iPhone contract is up, not renewing because I have a phone through work. I'm thinking of basically using iPhone as an iPod touch but don't want to depend on free wifi. Anyone have any experience with Clear brand mobile hotspot? Just wondering how their coverage is around DFW. Originally Posted by Dilbertgolfgo to www.freedompop.com

To see if you'll get a signal, check their signal coverage map. It is very accurate. If you're not spending most of your time in the dark green WiMax coverage areas, then I wouldn't get Clear. If you are in their coverage area, then it's a great service. Fast speeds (5-25 Mbps) and unlimited data.
