How are threats in "private" areas handled?

MODs,

I like to know how you handle threats in private areas, such as the ML or the ladies room when made against members outside who do not have access to the private area. I guess I am also asking when PMs of such nature are RTMed that way (where a threat is made against a third person).

I understand the immediate BANNING, but are the person/persons who are being threatened being warned or given a heads up, or left to their own devices?

Just a general policy question here for the MODs.

No Lilly, this was about a clear threat made in a private area and I wanted to make sure that these things are not only being handled by BANNING the originator, but also taking steps to make the person at risk aware in some way or form.

And the Mods do that on a case by case basis ...
