Hey I was thinking of coming down to the lubbock area this weekend or monday... Any interest? Anyone recommendations as to where to stay and best places to eat?

You will love Lubbock it is a great area and the guys are just great! I am actually visiting right now and have in the past as well. What Miss Ash said too....PM I stay at a GREAT place when I go!
