Actually, the Tubes had several hit songs. This was a lyric from their most popular song "She's a Beauty" from their 1983 album "Outside Inside". If you go find "The Completion Backward Principle" from 1981, you'll find their first hit "Talk To You Later". Therefore, they don't qualify as a one-hit wonder.

On the other hand,"867-9305-Jenny" from Tommy Tutone would qualify as a one-hit wonder.

The Tubes were an excellent band that had many fine albums, of which, "The Completion Backward Principle" was probably the best. They first gained fame (infamy) in the 70's with a song called "White Punks on Dope".
