I went to the range with my pard today, shooting a little bit of handgun. Met the nicest and the rudest people.
Naive Am family with repeaters, blowing off ammo like it was going out if style, got swept with a muzzle, the didn't police their brass and bitched about everything.
After they left a nice older lady with a Colt .45 auto came by and was friendly , as was the big guy with a wildcat round in a TC with a foot long bbl.
Any info on where to shoot skeet and trap?

Same club, different range. Or try Jake's Clays - they have sporting clays, but not trap/skeet.
Windwalker's in Stanton is pretty good also. The MSA Shotgun range is only open Wed-Sun.

Thanks guys. I will be here for about 3 months, so I hope to get some good range time in. If anyone wants to shoot some trap, drop me a pm.

I have only been in town a little over a week. Please tell me WHERE these places are. I only have my trap gun and a couple of HG's at the moment. I did pretty well hitting gongs and hogs with a .38, the other day.
Thanks for the info so far, I just need a LITTLE more though.

Turn off I-20 on 1788, go south a couple miles and the MSA skeet range is on your left.
They've also got (or did have) one round of sporting clay stands.

Look up Windwalker farms for the other sporting clay place (besides Jakes above).
It's a little convoluted to try and tell ya how to get there, follow the map!
Good luck and have fun!
