An Available thread

I had an interesting question... I would like to know if it is allowed and input from the guys if it would be helpful to them....

We are allowed to put only one ad a week on the board.. but for instance.. let's say I put my ad up on Monday and then something happens and I am not available on Thursday and Friday. Then the hobbyists that try to contact me have no idea why I am not answering my phone... or vice versa... I normally only work during the day but something comes up and now I can work a night that week...

So here is the question... can an "available thread" be started in which the ladies state " I am available for play" ? Not an ad for advertises their selves but just a sentence so guys can narrow down their call list before they go on the wild goose chase... or should I say wild kitty chase ? lol

Just curious.. I have really been thinking of ways in which the guys know that very day if we are available or not.... input please..

I've been arguing for something like this for years going back to the old site. I say hell yeah.

I would like to have a section dedicated to just that.

The site costs money to run, I bet for a fee you could get daily ad's....but if you did a web site with a calander you could up-date that, or run an ISO post looking for company.

Why not allow the provider who opens a Weekly Ad to make one "No Longer Available" update to that thread? Afterwards, the provider would have to wait for the next week to submit another Weekly Ad. Seems like a simple enough solution for providers who only wish to be available a few days a week (or if her schedule changes.)

Perhaps this thread should be in the "Questions for the staff - San Antonio" forum.

I believe the weekend thread also provides the ladies with another opportunity to post within a week's time.

Also I believe the posting rule was really because that in larger cities that there are so many providers that if they could post multiple advertisements that the thread would grow too fast or get out of control for the moderators to manage. (I could be wrong here)

Therefore the most recent Ads will more than likely be shoved to another page/s if
many providers happened to edit their Ads all at once.

As Drtry2 stated. There's other ways to make it visibly known the availability of said provider. It's up to said lady to put some effort into utilizing different venues & post those links in her signature line; to keep the hobbyists up to-date as to her availability. JMPO.

I was just talking about a thread in the co-ed discussions ... where a lady can put in that day "available today" or "not available today"

nothing fancy.. just thinking convenience.. nothing more.
