Ren Fest...who will try to go?

So I don't know about a lot of you, but I haven't been able to go to the KC Ren Fest the last couple of years. This year it will be different. It made me think what weekend theme would be the best to try and hit up.

They are:
Pirates Ale Fest
Annual Pet Fest
Highland Games
Wonders of the Worlds
Shamrocks & Shenanigans
Wine, Chocolate, and Romance
Oktoberfest
Harvest Huzzah

What weekend would you go to just based off the theme names?

Myself I like Oktoberfest

Once you go to their website, click on yellow banner upper right hand corner it brings up ticketfly, click on buy tickets and you are in.

Also you can discounted tickets at Hy-Vee and Dilllions. Also if you bring 5 canned food items for the Food Harvester trailer you can get $4 off your admission.

Hope this helps
I was super excited when I saw the brochure for it at the gas station. I haven't been since I went for a fieldtrip in high school in Wichita. I loved the guys in the Knights suits, the buxom ladies in their dresses and just the overall atmosphere of the whole place. Can't wait to go check it out.

Madame Reds Brothel has a facebook page. Soon they ought to be posting pics of any new virgins that have joined this year.
I am getting ready to head out now for Renfest with trusty camera at my side. The first time I went I took a number of pictures of a guy that went by Lord Lion Fire. Entered it in the local Kodak amateur photo contest and made it all the way to the finals. Received an honorable mention from Kodak at the national level along with a small check and a very nice Kodak book - A Day in the Life of China. I was told that it was put on display at their pavilion at EPCOT. So it was worth the trip. I've been going every year for the past 25 (minus a stint in Korea and Somalia) and taken hundreds of photos. Thank God for digital cameras.

Looking forward to Madame Red and her brothel again today.
