I'm not LE just new to hobbyist what I have done has been in Canada where it's pretty much no worries I guess this board isn't for helping other members be safe cause that's all I was trying to do. Maybe ill just stick to Canada where there boards have members that actually have helped me not make past mistakes as other newbs.

I agree with you Steve, pretty uncalled for to call you out publicly like that. But GBOF has a point, put some effort in to get something out. If I was close to Canada, I would just go there as you suggest. It's why Frankie won't come make a US tour.

I have the same username on a Canadian board I won't say it's name cause I'm not sure of the rules on this board. You can see I've tried to contribute there with my limited experience. I'm not gonna get pushed away. Just thought these boards were to educate and help other members. I totally understand people being careful and cautious that's all I was trying to do myself.

If you are a hobbyist on other boards, I'm sure you will agree that using PM to seek info immediately probably isn't the way to approach things. Join the discussion, get to know people and then I'm sure the PM's will be better for you.

In PM's, if I'm unsure of a new member, I just don't respond.

However, outing in public......C'mon, GBOF.....you're better than that.

A bit harsh on the call out, but even some of the most respected members here seem to take no risks, and do no reviews. It can be hard to find a balance. I send few if any PMs for info as I'm unsure who to trust, the general feel is unwillingness to help with anything worthwhile, and I've found that most of the few members that do reply take more than they give.

I'm with GBOF on this one, it's better to be safe than sorry. We talk to much. We'd be better off if we say less. Let him earn his stripes. Obviously the site is for helping each other out but come on, newbies gotta put themselves in our shoes.

I got burned via pm once. A provider's ex husband asked me all kinds of info under the guise of seeing her. Stupid me thought I was helping her out. Not saying it happens alot, but it does happen.

If LE wants to investigate an sp, they "used to" ( haven't heard of this in over 3/4 years) book an appointment with an sp and show up at her location to have a chat, see if she has any issues of concern. Clients do not run the risk of a random knock knock. Crack downs used to be popular during tax time, so I was informed, and has never happened to me.

What you want to be careful of is pt problems, then you could potentially be caught at the scene of something unexpected IMHO.

There are very few worries for gents over here, completely legal is false.
