I have enjoyed a couple of cruises out of New Orleans and am about ready for another. Probably will wait until late January or early February. How bout the first annual ECCIE cruise? Everyone is welcome. We pick a four or five day cruise and any one and every one that wants to go can book on the same ship. Girls can use it as a vacation or a working vacation. Plenty of activities during the day and plenty of things to do in the evenings. Think of how much fun a group like ours would have just getting together for a few days. Any interest?
Actually I was thinking about taking my first cruise and was wondering about such an event.
That sounds like a GREAT idea. Anyone mind if I bring the wife & kids?
I love the idea!! I have taken cruises out of New Orleans and I have thought about doing another one soon. I have thought about bringing a companion as well. Cruises can be a lot of FUN!! If there is enough interest we can get a discounted rate. Most cabins are booked double occupancy, could be a problem for BCD activities unless the two in a cabin are exclusive for the cruise. Or in the alternative pay the high rate and cabin alone.
Also remeber your looking at a time frame when the Saints will more than likely be repeating a World Championship. Might want to look at booking in March, just a suggestion.
Ooooooooooo....... I wanna go! I have never been on a cruise before! I guess when more interest is shown then more detailed info will be made available. Count me in!
I'm leaving on Sept 9 for Cozumel, a girls gotta get away sometime! This will be my second time on this ship to this destination, the first time i went with a client. a 77 year old client. if you think im kidding i have the pics to prove it... figured i would go back and do all the stuff i didnt get to do the first time. =D A group of us does sound interesting to say the least! i always reccomend an Aft balcony!
I realize that it is a little further out from a date perspective, but next fall Carnival will start launching the Conquest for 7 days. The Conquest is one of the newer ships with the big out door screen. The stop itinerary is to include Belize, Grand Caymen, and Montego Bay . This will be a new stop itinerary from New Orleans. Most of the current current 4-5 days go to Progresso Mexico, and Cozumel. You can check Carnival.com for actual beginning launch dates. For those who have never been on a cruise it can be a really fun experience especially the night scene in some of the on board clubs.
Working in what I love to do on a cruise. Yes, please, and thank you. I'd personally prefer the seven day cruise.
Just my opinion, cruises are best with a group of friends...........the bigger the better!
