I Need Some Insight . . .

I've tried to support & help 2 providers this year get acquainted/re-acquainted with the Hobby. Both were personal friends I met in my private life but because I am transparent most everyone who knows me knows I moonlight in the Hobby. Soooooooooooo, when these girls reached out to me for advise/help/guidance I did for them what has been done for me-I paid it forward, I helped. Guess what happened? Yeah, both flaked. I even vouched for them w/some of my regs. Now before ya go on about providers being flakey, blah, blah, blah-I know. So are Hobbyists. But these girls were my personal friends. I've helped tons of great girls(some friends/some co-workers) Coast to Coast & they've flourished. There's even a group of pals in Cali that call me their Fair GodHooker. (Is that not Presh! I only share the knowledge that was given to me.) So now I'm hurt, angry & torn. I want to always be of service & assistance anywhere but especially here, in the Hobby. We have to stick together & support each other, right? Now, I feel like shutting down & never helping again. I hate that! HATE IT!

I feel ya babe....I have been there numerous times....and will NEVER do it again!

One of the girls I knew as a family friend...it broke not only my heart but my kids heart when things went sour between me & the lady.....she is now trying to facebook me,but I cannot go backwards so I am ignoring her.

I say keep the personal life & the hobby life in two different realms.

Sorry that happened to you....wishing you GOOD karma!
Thanks girl! I always have said in my other biz, "There are no friends in business". It's served me well. I'm gonna start applying that motto to the Hobby. Oddly enough my business associates who've become friends have remained truer both professionally & personally than any other group of friends. Things that make ya go, HMMMMMMMMMMMM?

Just be a little more guarded next time.

To the land of helping providers... some are great.. they are usually older and wiser.. I keep my distance.. no more daily lunches thats for sure. Dont let it get to ya.. pick "real life friends" this shit is an illusion some people think thats real life. Thats a dangerous thought pattern. I completely keep my real life as oughta this bullshit as possible.. with my job its hard. You on the other hand can JUST WALK..let the little darlings learn for themselves.. Better yet let the white knights do the babysitting. THEN MAYBE THEY WILL MISS YOUR CARING SOUL! xxoo annie
