I'm interested in opinions here. It has been pointed out to myself and others that don't post reviews that we don't post reviews. A number of folks have touched on this review snafu but one in particular seems obsessed. I have repeatedly asked him and others to explain WTF difference it makes whether I post reviews or not but for some reason I never get an answer, just more snide comments..
So I ask the question to the group at large...WTF difference does it make? Since I and others have no reviews, are we somehow ignorant of the ins and outs of this industry? When I came to this forum I didn't see any rules regarding reviews, did I miss something?
It may be that the contributions of non-reviewers are not as easily seen, and probably has less to do with the knowledge you have. The reluctance to share with the community may rub some members the wrong way.
Do what you do. Safety first.
I don't care about reviews honestly. I have a few, which I don't mind as they aide guys in being able to verify me and get an idea of the services I offer during a session. But I don't need hundreds of reviews and I certainly dont care if my client writes reviews or not. I prefer him not to, as I love the discretion and for the intimate details of our sessions to be between us. And I don't really use reviews as a method for screening my clients. Most of the gentlemen I've seen this past year respect privacy and don't write reviews. Fine with me, as one can obviously see, I haven't had a review done in almost a year. On another note, I do appreciate the ones I have as they help get my name out there!
I prefer the man I'm pleasing to NOT 'kiss and tell'
I have never criticized anyone for not reviewing. But here are some thoughts.
Those that criticize someone for not writing reviews, don't seem to criticize everyone who chooses not to write reviews, just some that choose not to write reviews. If you don't write reviews, but criticize others reviews, hijack review threads, imply someone writes reviews just for their own satisfaction or pa access ... Then maybe that is what draws the critiscism for not writing reviews. In other words, if i write a review and it is hijacked or picked apart, or i am personally attacked by someone who does not write reviews, i might say "fuck you and your opinion, you don't write reviews, so why fuck with mine."
Also, i do think the reviews are the most important part of this board for me. Drama posts in coed, or snarky back and forth in coed is worthless to me in pursuit of the hobby. It can be interesting and fun, but not really valuable information. I will pu it bluntly to you Malwoody , you asked..... Lovewomen's reviews are much more valuable to me in hobbying than anything you post.
So if you don't post review, but you are perceived to be criticizing, or hijacking reviews of another, you should not be surprised to hear.."fuck your opinion, you never review"
With all that said, i want to make one more point. My behavior in my month long fight with you was bad and stupid. You and I have buried that, and you have been a man about that. Your posts are some of the more interesting on this board, in my opinion, for two reasons. Your sense of humor and your experience in the kc scene. So I'm not suggesting you should start writing reviews ( they would probably suck... "I walked in room, we starting to kiss, and i fucking fell asleep that bed was so comfy "!!), but i was just trying to answer your question. If you don't want folks to criticize your no review policy, then don't be perceived as one who criticizes some of us who write many reviews.
Well I do like comfortable beds and your last remark has me choking on my egg Mcmuffin....
Seriously that was objective, to the point and the first real answer from another guy that made many points and no I'm not sucking up here, just being honest. I have shared opinions in the ML and through PMs regarding providers, but admittedly I just don't see anyone new these days, I have found my Nirvana for now. I do have a bucket list though and of course your reviews have influenced it greatly..
The LW comparison did sting a bit though...LOL
I will admit that I'm not a seasoned veteran at this...but I feel like I have read a lot of reviews and posts over the past year to know that there are members who do seem to go out of their way to criticize frequently (which they have the right to do) but because of these members I am reluctant to write reviews. That being said, I also have my group of providers I am comfortable with seeing and don't venture into new territory very often. I've only written one review so far, and to be honest I was very nervous about submitting it. I realize that feeling apprehensive about posting reviews is my own issue...but I agree with MW...just my $.02 worth
That is OK, but some providers may want to do a quick search of ECCI to see if I have posted anything. I did one review years ago, since then I have done none but I have seen providers on this board and not on this board. It is like references. If I partake just 2-3 times per year, you may not remember who the hell I was 9 months later.
I think the best thing about reviews that I can read is negative comments. That makes the search a little easier.

Regardless whether some of the veteran guys here writes reviews makes no difference to me because their words carries alot in my view point. That's just me though because I'm one of the veteran guys and know who alot of the vets are. I, on the other hand, write reviews, but doesn't make me any more valuable than vets that doesn't, like you MW, DD, and VK for example.
I do find having a good amount of reviews makes the screening process quick and painless for me as I'm a variety type guy.
I just don't believe in writing reviews for girls that already have alot of reviews on them. You should only write a review for discovering new girls that we have no knowledge of. I have the mindset for my hobbying that i am columbus, I want to discover new land and not drive all over fucking spain!

Using your basis for when you decide to write one.. which is when you discover something new... what is worse? The guy who writes his sixth review of betty, or the guy who discovers something new, good or bad, but doesnt write a review to share his info?
Point is, we should all quit criticizing each others review or no review style. I have a ton of reviews, but there are many times i have not reviewed, even ladies that don't have many reviews... Because i think about half of the audience will criticize me.. You paid too much. You already reviewd her... You are just bragging about yourself... I would never see her.. You write too many reviews...
And there is always a possibility that an established provider becomes better or worse or changes activities. Sometimes a review is the only way for most to know about that unless it is talked about in the ML or such. But I have zero problem with folks not writing reviews. Each gent should do what they are comfortable with. Not writing reviews does not automatically make what else they post not valuable.
I do write a lot of reviews of the same ladies that I have seen, but I only try to do it if I've engaged in a new, exciting, unique, or strange activity with her. I think it's informative if you read something in a review of a lady that you never knew that she did. Plus, it's nice to know if she's consistent or maybe slipping a bit in performance. Most review information on here is helpful.
It doesn't matter if you write reviews or not. Who really cares what other people think? Seriously life is way to short and has too many problems already without borrowing trouble caring what others think of you on a hooker chat board. This is a hobby like collecting stamps ie supposed to be a fun. For me I like writing reviews it adds to the allure of breaking the law, breaking the law.
I don't write reviews because #1. Both of the women I have been seeing are under the radar, #2. I have been seeing each of them once a week for over six years (although one has retired and I am still looking for a replacement) and #3. I am only interested in a 20-30 minute massage/HJ and it's rather boring to write a review where very little happens.
So there is really little point in writing one.
HOWEVER, now that I am looking for someone, I greatly appreciate what everyone else writes and posts. It is an invaluable service for me in my search.
Thanks

I think the issue some people have with guys that don't have any reviews is credibility. Frankly, I understand the skepticism. By the way I am one of those guys with no reviews…..The last review I wrote was back in the early days of ASPD.
Why should anyone that doesn’t know my background in this “hobby” give any credence to what I say. Of course some people that know me don’t always believe what I say anyway….but that is a different story...LOL!!! Just because I have a join date around the time this board started, doesn’t mean I have any real experience or knowledge about this little world of ours. They don’t know that I was an Admin on ASPD for many years and a Moderator on this board for a few years as well. They don’t know how many ladies I have had the pleasure of spending quality time with over my 3 decades of playing in this world. For all they know all I am just some guy trying to live vicariously through others on this board.
On the other hand, just because someone has written 200 reviews doesn’t mean you should blindly follow what they have to say! Writing a large number of reviews doesn’t necessarily mean a person is trustworthy or knowledgeable.
For me, it comes down to doing a bit of due diligence. Before I put much stock in what anyone says I try to find out more about them. If I want to know more about someone I will spend some time looking at a guy’s review history or checking out his past posts or asking someone I know and trust about him. The same goes for the ladies.
Some final thoughts….we all have something to offer this board. Whether it be the fresh perspective of a newbie or the sage advice of a long time veteran, everyone can add value to this board. While it’s up to each of us to decide whose comments we want to pay attention to, it is also up to each of us to remember that different opinions and viewpoints are what makes this world such an interesting place! I hope everyone keeps that in mind the next time they are thinking about ripping into someone!
Just the rambling thoughts of a lost soul!
Back to my own world now.....
