Natural Beauty or All Dolled up?

Gents AND Ladies...

What is your preference? Are you a big fan of makeup or do you inhabit the realm that covets the philosophy of " less is more?" I have recently had to ditch using mascara because I cannot locate a brand that doesn`t make my eyeballs burn. To me it looks a tad bland when I can`t blacken my lashes. Do any other ladies share this mascara issue?
Depends on the lady , some look great with less make up , some with more . My preference is a more natural look , dressed like the girl next door . I guess batshit stings your eyes ?

I love the natural look myself.
Gin, I go somewhere in between, well you've seen me! And I too do not use mascara for the same reason, as well as mascara feels very heavy. The only one I tried that didn't really feel too bad was zoom lash by Mac .. I sometimes use it.

On a separate note, makeup makes any person more beautiful than what they are, it's not a matter of needing it or not
I prefer the lady to be straight out of the shower - no makeup, no perfume (no clothes ;-)). My SO has the eyes of an eagle and the nose of a great hunting dog.

The first thing I learned about hobbying was "Leave No Evidence!!"

Most women are too self critical, and could probably get by with less, the marketing for make up is so heavy, you can't turn on your TV or open a magazine and avoid it. JS

Agree with OldYeller, straight out of the shower is sexy as hell.....

Make-up; anything that doesn't rub-off (and can't get TCO'd in the shower before I leave) is fine. Only exception was one lady that had her face made up SO MUCH that she didn't even look real (which I guess really bother'd me - we met at least 3 times!)

I prefer some slight enhancements. The mascara or lash darkener applied lightly is just fine. My SO uses stuff from bare essentials ( I think that's the place, it's across from Soma and just outside Nordstrom's at La Cantera ). It is the only stuff that doesn't burn her eyes.
I have had issues with makeup. My sisters and I all have sensitive skin. Try Rimmel mascara and makeup honey. I have never had issues with it and its not super expensive.

OldYeller said it best... Nothing better than clean, natural and wet.
