Good Chinese Food

And I'm not talking about the crap I got served at Shanghi or any of the places off Waltzem. I want GOOD Chinese food that's not dry and tasteless or all tastes the same.

Can someone please help?!?!?! I'm tired of Panda Express.

Sorry Charlotte, I haven't found good Chinese in SA. And I do mean GOOD.

Majority of the restaurants use the same UBS ubiquitous brown sauce so it all tastes the same.

If you don't mind trying Korean food may I suggest koreananna or close to it. On Harry wurzbach. I have tried all of the Korean restaurants in town and I like this one the best.
Try the kimchi pancake for an appetizer and the pork bugogi (taegogi). You won't be satisfied until you return again and again.

The best authentic Chinese cuisine I've had to date is this lil' restaurant in Everett, WA off broadway... Impressively splendid... Bamboo Garden in downtown Seattle is a favorite of mine as well... But you'd have to travel quite far for that darling.

Panda Express is disgusting... Tried it once in OKC... Barf.

If you consider Thai "Chinese" food then Thai Spice on the north east side is good. Off pat booker by Randolph. If you want to try it I'll treat you to lunch.

Ding How was the Premier Chinese place 20+ yrs ago.

My last time there was about 15+ yrs ago. UBS was blatant that even lemon chicken was tasteless.

I too spent time in Korea and Koreana is as close as you will get in SA.

The place with the light house was fantastic until bought by a new owner some ten yrs ago, quality and staff went downhill.

There was another place down Harry closer to Ft Sam that was jump up and down this is what I am talking about good, GOOD, but closed after an extended vacation.

If you run across GOOD Korean do a shout out. Help a brother out.

Thai Spice is very good. Same family owns a Thai place on Rittiman (could be Eisenhower) on the left going in from 410.

I belive they still own the old Scotty's pub in UC and the oriental market just north across the street from Scottie's. Good people.

I'll second Kim Wah. The duck is especially good.
I only trust PF Changs.
Chinese food is very tricky, once they mix it with souse and MSG you hardly know what it is
