Me and my beautiful cohorts are in Austin for a day or two. What is there to do for nightlife? (18 and up) and what are the local favorites when it comes to food. We love to eat! I heard Franklins is the bomb! I like everything.

If you like seafood, Truluck's and Eddie V's are both excellent. You can get an outstanding steak at Barlett's as well as Roaring Fork. All of these are close to the Arboretum/Domain area.
