Honestly I think this is not a bad idea. It would need a disclaimer at the beginning stating that you post at your own risk. The mods would have to get approval and approve to let certain rules like what jack stated be with held from that thread only. Many times I have seen where people vented and it was over or they agree to disagree. Some times the thread get closed before it gets to far out of hand. This in turn leave the parities involved upset because they did not get any closer to the issue. This will lead to further frustration and hostility from these people to find a way to get their closure to the issue. We can see this exact thing happening here now and on other parts of the board.
Other times there has been misinterpretation to what some people write. Then another person take offense to it. This happens a lot here. At least they would be able to vent it out and then both parties could come to the understanding what was originally meant. I have a lot more I could say on the matter, but I am trying not to give 3 page responses any more .
