GALLOWAY RETIRES............AFTER DECADES ON THE AIR

Damn I am going to miss his rants, his opinions, his phraseology .....it was the most entertaining sports talk radio for me.....

I am not an avid sports talk fan; but the Galloway show was an enjoyable tune-in......a distinctive voice that I didn't tire of...

Thanks Galloway; my radio seems a little too empty...

I have to agree, I wonder what ESPN 103.3 is going to do to fill that 4-7 slot?
He was definitely unique. Still funny when you think about him bailing/giving ol Quincy Carter a ride home.

Randy was a funny dude.
I remember years ago in a press conference at the Cowboys when Randy got to Jerry's goat. Randy wrote a story about Jerry "meddling" in Cowboys decisions. A day or so later at the conference, Jerry was talking about his decisions and looked Galloway square in the eye and said: "And if that's MEDDLING, then you call it what you want!" Or something to that effect...

Galloway just smiled and kept taking notes. Jerry the meddler...who knew?
Adios, Grandpa Urine!

Randy has a golden parachute, for 3 months, look for him to pop up somewhere else besides espn.

Cumulus owns The Ticket.

Welcome to Phase I of the phasing out of 103.3. Either that or they'll bring Ticket personnel over gradually to take advantage of the superior FM radio signal. Either way, 103.3 as we knew it will slowly cease to exist. It will either change formats in the not too distant future, or it will essentially become The Ticket.

With the ratings comes the power. If they ever get the Cowboys' contract again (which is unlikely, imho), 105.3 will go away, too. But as long as 105.3 can hang onto that, there will be at least some semblance of an alternative for local sportstalk radio. You can sustain (or build) an entire station around Cowboys programming.

I've listened to all 3 stations at one time or another. However, i will not listen to the ticket anymore. The way they mocked and laughed at the whole Greg Williams issue was way beyond classless. Now Grego has gone and fu*ked up deals at the espn and the fan, but still the ticket let that situation get bad.
Correction: Greg Williams "let that situation get bad" . . . put the responsibility where it lies.

Galloway was a blowhard.

Sports radio blows here, my biggest gripe is no games on the weekend. I mean like national college games. I think it's cbs sports radio that carries them.

Gallo & Norm about the only thing close to sports radio, maybe rj choppy - just started listening to him since Galloway demise. I like the noon to 3 at espn, but he's not as entertaining as Randy. Same goes with what's left of gac show.

The fan blows with Ben & skin, they suck up so bad it hurts my ears. The ticket is equally as bad with the hardline show. Very little sports mostly pop culture and bad jokes.

Going to miss Randy.
