UGHHHH. WHEN IT'S YOUR HOTEL

Don't you hate it when out of 36 hotels in the erea you are in..and you pic the four star nicest newest and expensive for safety sakes....your hotel is the the one the police decide to be in and out of all damn night patrol car after patrol car after sheriff after mini van to black and white s...in and out once you think they have gone nope five minutes later with papers or something for the front desk....GOOD GRIEF.....from 930 on.geeze.......one time in Pasadena we set up shop right across the hall from a sting operation yeah I opened my door while they were opening there door saw all the computers and monitors and under covers......yep that was a zero day .....so while I'm sitting doing nothing but watching the cops go in and out of my hotel...was just wondering how many other ladies have gone the extra mile to be in a great area just to be in cop zone for the day....??? Or how about when someone locked them selves in the down stairs hotel bathroom for hours and the police and fire department was breaking the door in for hours at the galleria in Houston....HOW DARE THEM..DON'T THEY KNOW WE ARE TRYING TO WORK HERE...LOL...SO BRING ON THE STORIES LADIES GENTS I KNOW YOU GOT THEM

I booked a hotel once. Upon arriving there were approx 50-100 police cars. APPARENTLY they were holding a LE convention next door.. OMG i spent a lot of $ for that nice hotel and it sucked having them there. Many were from other cities. So it was kind of hot having LE staying in rooms on both sides of mine... that i was misbehaving literally...right under their noses lol!

Went to meet a touring provider at the nicest hotel in my town and pulled in the parking lot at 7 pm to find 50 plus LE cars there!

I walked in ( yes, I just couldn't believe there were that many cars just to arrest me) and casually asked the doorman what was up with all the cops and he said it was the yearly state Sherrifs convention. I went upstairs with a shit eating grin on my face thinking I was literally pulling this off right in front of them...

Yep---I was in Albuquerque several years ago at a very nice resort hotel.....I had a good schedule the next day with 3 regular clients.............I woke up early,went out on my patio deck and saw the parking lot full of cop cars/sheriffs cars and various other police vehicles from all over New mexico...............They were having a statewide drunk driving conference!
{But i did end up playing naughty in the hot tub that evening with a couple of them} lol

happens more than we think..... i have friends in LE and they hit hotels for conferences all the time. Computers in room is them being from out of town and catching up on paperwork and surfing eccie while they are away from home. lol

One of my ATF's told me this was a standard for her for every town. She checks the city websites, Convention and Visitors Bureau, calls the potential hotel, etc..... to do her research.

On an aside..... worst hotel experience I had was also one that had a LE Convention of some sort going on. It was like a GD frat party. they worst thing is they put them all on the top floors... so they were in the stairwells, walking the floors, etc all hours of the night.

Funny thing was when we checked out the next morning around 8 ish I think..... the owner was behind the desk handling the check outs and giving away a lot of discounts to a long line of unhappy people.

also check local paper and/or most used local board(eccie or completion) where you are going.

You do not want to post on eccie will be here in a area only to find the one town or city you are at is hitting BP ads at hotels. but the next town over is not.
