My sister Megan Marie

I wasn't sure where to post this, so I'll start here and hope that the right people will read it.

Megan Marie provided a service within this community and many of you came to know her and care for her very deeply.

As you know, she passed away in 2010, 3 years ago this last July. I'm sure you can imagine, her loss is unbearable for our family even today. Especially our mother and father.

As a gift to them I am compiling statements from friends and loved ones to put in a book for our parents. It will mean a great deal to them to reflect on the impact she had on the lives of those around her.

What I am asking of you, those of you who cared for her and were maybe the recipient of her garden goodies and fresh eggs, will you please reply to this thread with a kind word about my sister?

The fact that you knew her in this professional capacity is irrelevant, no matter how she came to be in your life, you were blessed and it would be lovely if you would share your thoughts. You don't have to reveal how you knew her, she was your friend. She had lots of those from all walks of life and from many circles.

Her profession was not a secret to us and it didn't matter as long as she was safe with all of you and she was. I am delighted that she was able to make you smile and feel good for the time you shared.

This is your chance to do one last review for Megan Marie only not the specifics of the service she provided but about the sweet spirit you came to know, her smile, her silliness, everything that made her wonderful. As strange as it may sound, this review is for her mom and dad. Again, she was your friend.

If you know of other areas she worked and knew people, would you please repost a link to send others here?

Many thanks,

Little Sister ♥

Each of us have a story to tell about her and sharing yours would be a gift.

However, I understand the reluctance and caution as it is the nature of your business and I respect that.
Dont mind him Lil Sister, he is always a jerk. There is nothing illegal about saying something nice about someone. I didnt know her but I know someone who did and heard she was a beautiful person inside and out. Hope you get the positive response that you are looking for.

Hey LittleSister, it might do well to post this in the east tex forum! I think Megan had many friends there!
My story is that my wife of 46 years passed away 12/07, I was lost for over a year!
I met Megan through another friend in 09! from then on she would visit me from time to time and she would almost always bring me fresh eggs, candles or something. she was a very down to earth and sweet person! and she was one of the people that showed me I still had lots of life to live!
I always considered her my friend and I am better off having known her! :-)

Let's think about this and rationalize. We don't know exactly how she died and if sistergirl is actually her sister........or a woman scorned who knows about her husbands eccie id and is waiting for him to respond unless we knew her. For all we know this lady died of a medical related issues that may endanger those who saw her. This random new poster may just be colelecting names and emails so she can inform them of a certain unfortunate affliction they may have inherited....or not...allegedly.....and hypothetically.

Sometimes ba little paranoia isn't bad.

Have her put in a formal request to have her reviews reinstated.....then she can quote the review parts she can see.

If lord forbid a lady I saw on this site died........Id want every post deleted, and also out of respect of them.

But by all means post pictures of her that she advertised with to jog everyones memory. I'm sure its no biggie................
OK Gimme, then why not make that suggestion in your first post? Instead of coming across the way that you did? She is just looking for positive statements, not exact activities but kind words. I am sure she is not, nor are the parents interested in her actual activities behind closed doors. I took this as a compilation of statements by her friends in the hobby and otherwise. I seriously doubt it is LE or a scorned wife. They both act immediately upon something, not years later.

As far as the link, I am sure he has already contact you lil sis.

Although I did not know your sister the loss of a sibling is devastating. I am sorry for your loss.

I don't moderate this area, so I will only post this as a member of staff, who for all practical purposes is just a member on this forum. You folks need to read the Forum Guidelines and realize that this topic is not allowed.

#32 - On occasion, we may lose a valuable member of our community as a result of an unexpected accident, natural causes, or other various circumstances. The grieving process when these situations arise is often difficult and ECCIE has established a procedure to follow in such cases to protect the memory and more importantly the anonymity of our deceased member. A brief announcement will be made to inform the membership and honor the deceased member's contributions here without revealing any circumstances that may jeopardize the privacy of any of the parties involved. It will be immediately locked, and no further discussion allowed.

There is a reason for that guideline to exists, and all members should refrain from posting to this thread until a local moderator can close the thread. It is the right thing to do.

Lots of folks here came to know my sister as a personal friend and those folks can reach out to me via PM to confirm my family link and contribute your stories of friendship etc.

Again, I meant no disrespect to the forum and policies.
